How to Apply:

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Iseehear team, please submit your resume with a cover letter indicating the position(s) that you are interested in.

Please use one of the two options below.

Options #1 - Please complete the online application specifying the position of your interest and then email a copy of your resume with cover letter to opportunities@iseehear.com.

Important: Before attaching and sending your resume please note the following:
  1. The subject line of your email should include the word "resume"
  2. Acceptable file formats: MS Word or PDF
  3. Maximum file size: 50 KB
  4. Please include your cover letter in the same document as your resume
Option #2 - Send your resume and cover letter within the body of the email to opportunities@iseehear.com.

Here are some tips:
  1. The subject line of your email should include the word "resume"
  2. Send your resume as plain text (no images) within the body of the e-mail
  3. Begin the e-mail with your cover letter that identifies the position you are applying for
  4. Separate your cover letter from your resume with a line of asterisks     *************************

Responding to your Resume:

Applications and resumes will be reviewed by the Iseehear Human Resources (HR) Team. Iseehear thanks all applicants who apply. Please note that only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

Iseehear HR will send a reply within two weeks to applicants that have been selected for an initial telephone interview.

Note:
Please do not telephone our office. We will immediately disqualify all phone enquiries.
Please do not attend our offices uninvited. Iseehear HR will not meet with uninvited applicants.



Interview Process:

Step 1: The phone interview will be conducted between the Iseehear HR Team and the applicant.

Step 2: If the phone interview is successful the candidates will be invited to come in for a private interview at which time Iseehear HR will discuss their skills, career ambitions, availability, desired placement, their expectations and Iseehear Inc.’s expectations. The applicant may be provided with an assessment task to be completed and presented at the private interview.

Step 3: After the private interview candidates for placements will be notified by email and by telephone informing them whether they have been accepted into the Iseehear Team.

Step 4: The new placement will then be required to sign the Iseehear Inc. NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), the Iseehear Inc. IP Release (Intellectual Property Release) and the Iseehear Procedures Manual. These signed documents will cover all aspects of Iseehear Inc. business. The purpose of the NDA, the IP Release and the Procedures Manual are directly related to protecting Iseehear Inc.’s business and intellectual property interests.

Step 5: The new placement is now a probationary Iseehear Team Member. Note: There will be a 1 year graduated probation period for all new placements. During this graduated probation period, if the probationary Team member does not meet expectations as defined in the Iseehear Procedures Manual, they will be re-assessed by Iseehear HR and appropriate steps will be initiated.



Example of Interview Questions:

General Information:
  1. What position are you applying for?
  2. What top three coding languages do you feel the most comfortable coding in?
  3. If the position you are interested in is filled, would you be interested in gaining experience in another area for example: QA, BA, DBA, Software Engineer, Architect, Marketing, Sales, ….?
  4. Are you doing any development on the side, keeping your skills fresh? If so, what are you working on and how much time do you commit to this activity?
Personal skills:
  1. Do you work best in a team or independently?
  2. Can you write a report?
Availability:
  1. How much time can you commit to Iseehear per week?
  2. Why do you want to join the Iseehear Team?

History:

Iseehear was founded in 2000 with the vision of developing web-based applications designed for the consumer market allowing the consumer to manage multiple aspects of their life in a centralized platform. Iseehear focused on the life sciences industry in 2002, building upon the technology it had developed for the previous application. The shift in focus was based on a strategy to target a specific niche with specific needs, in which two founders already had a thorough understanding, with a future goal of expanding into larger niche and non-niche markets using the same core technology.

The initial impetus for developing Iseehearīs science applications stemmed from the need of one of Iseehearīs founders, who is a neuroscience researcher, to manage the scientific process in a more practical and efficient manner in order to increase productivity. Based on these requirements, Iseehear embarked on a business case investigation of the biomedical and life science sector. This investigation validated that there is a definite need and a significant market for robust, dependable applications that would address all of the identified issues.



Area of Business:

Iseehear Inc. (Iseehear) (ISH) is an Internet software and database company developing novel and proprietary data management solutions for the biomedical research community.

Iseehearīs applications and services are designed to significantly reduce the inefficiencies that currently exist in the biomedical laboratory, but the benefits of Iseehearīs innovations will reach far beyond improving the scientific process.



Development Focus:

Our current development focus is in the area of Transgenic Mouse and Rat Breeding Colony Management Database Software



Development Engineering:

The SoftMouse System: Database and Software is the foundation of Iseehear's mouse model and rat model software and database development. The first product release in the SoftMouse System is the SoftMouse Database (SoftMouseDB).

The Iseehear SoftMouse System solutions manage knowledge creation and intellectual property throughout the full research and experiment process lifecycle within world-class research laboratories. By allowing for tighter integration of the various systems and software used in a biomedical laboratory and by automating the traditional paper-based methods of capturing and managing data, Iseehear's SoftMouse System solutions will:
  1. Greatly increase innovative and integrative research capacities
  2. Significantly enhance speed to discovery
  3. Drastically increase ease of information transfer between researchers
  4. Dramatically decrease total cost of ownership associated with IT


Team Building Philosophy:
