Upcoming events that we are looking forward to attend:
March 15th - 16th: SciBarCamp
Iseehear will be participating in SciBarCamp, “a gathering of scientists, artists, and technologists for a weekend of talks and discussions”.
SciBarCamp will take place at Hart House at the University of Toronto on the weekend of March 15-16.
“The goal is to create connections between science, entrepreneurs and local businesses, and arts and culture. The themes are: * The edge of science (eg, synthetic biology, quantum gravity, cognitive science) * The edge of technology (eg, mobile web, ambient computing, nanotechnology, web 2.0) * Science 2.0 (open access, changing models of publication and collaboration, scientific software) * Scientific literacy and public engagement (eg, one laptop per child project, policy and science, technology as legislation, enfranchising the poor, the young, the old) * The interactions of science, art and culture: Scientists and artists as partners in the continuing evolution of the culture.”

International Women's Day (8 March) is an occasion marked by women's groups around the world. This date is also commemorated at the United Nations and is designated in many countries as a national holiday. When women on all continents, often divided by national boundaries and by ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic and political differences, come together to celebrate their Day, they can look back to a tradition that represents at least nine decades of struggle for equality, justice, peace and development.
International Women's Day is the story of ordinary women as makers of history; it is rooted in the centuries-old struggle of women to participate in society on an equal footing with men. In ancient Greece, Lysistrata initiated a sexual strike against men in order to end war; during the French Revolution, Parisian women calling for "liberty, equality, fraternity" marched on Versailles to demand women's suffrage.

With the completion of version 1.0 of SoftMouse™, Iseehear™'s transgenic mouse management software, we launched the MANAGE Your Research™ campaign. The objective for the MANAGE Your Research™ campaign is to secure customer validation for the need and usefulness of SoftMouse™.
Launch of a live demonstration of version 1.0 of SoftMouse™ has been proposed for December.
Finally, we traveled to Philadelphia in October for the MAC Conference 2007 and in November we presented at the Stem Cell Network Annual General Meeting in Toronto.

Our activities over the first 7 months of 2007 have created additional opportunities for Iseehear to take advantage of and leverage. As a result, we will be taking some time in August to manage, consolidate and integrate the opportunities that have been created and prepare for a concerted financing and development push beginning in September.
